5K Team Competitions
|
- Botetourt County Elementary School Division
Teams, of a maximum of eight runners, minimum of four runners, may be comprised of both boys and girls in kindergarten through fifth grades. Team score is determined by the total of the best four times per team.
An overall trophy will be awarded to the winning school, to be displayed for the year. All first, second, and third place team members will receive a medal.
- Botetourt County Middle School Division
Teams, of a maximum of six runners, minimum of four runners, may be comprised of both boys and girls in sixth through eighth grades. Team score is determined by the total of the best four times per team.
An overall trophy will be awarded to the winning school, to be displayed for the year. All first, second, and third place team members will receive a medal.
- Open Division
Teams, of a maximum of six runners, minimum of four runners, may be comprised of either men or women. Team score is determined by the total of the best four times per team.
Each winning team member will receive an individual trophy and medal. Second and third place team members will receive a medal.
All team members are eligible for individual age group awards.
- Registration Deadline
The registration deadline for all team competitions is Thursday, October 2, 2008.
